Earlier this month, Dr. Bernauer and two undergraduate researchers, Mackenzie Miner and Jasmine Pearson traveled to Lincoln, NE to present posters about their ongoing research at the North Central Branch meeting of the Entomological Society of America!

It was Mackenzie and Jasmine's first professional research conferences and they had a great time meeting other entomologists, practicing professional networking, and exploring Lincoln!

Other highlights included enjoying warm, sunny weather, experiencing new insects, and the welcome reception at Morrill Hall where we learned about ancient creatures and Goliath beetles!
